Woolie Swimmers are Woolie aquatic soldiers and enemies in Bubsy 3D.
Description and behavior[]
Woolie Swimmers serve as Woolie Military's aquatic soldiers, being trained to engage the enemy underwater. They are equipped with specialized diving helmets, allowing them to survive underwater indefinitely. However, they lack mobility when compared to Woolie ranks, and are stationed at a fixed location.
Much like their peers on land, Woolie Nose Blowers, Woolie Swimmers' attack by shooting mucus from their nose at high velocity.
Strategy[]
Unlike other Woolie enemies, they can not be defeated by a Bop, as jumping is impossible underwater. The best way to tackle these enemies is to use the torpedo attack, as this makes quick work out of these foes. They can also be defeated by shooting an Atom, although this can be difficult underwater unless equipped with the 10 Shots power-up. Additionally, like every other enemy in the game, they can be defeated by the Invincibilities power-up.
